Already have an account from last year? Follow the instructions below to renew.

Students

  • Go to: https://myaccount.nytimes.com/verification/edupass
  • Follow the instructions to create an account. You must use your Buccaneer e-mail account as your user name.
  • Verify your e-mail account by opening the message from the New York Times, and clicking on the link provided.

To access your account, go to the New York Times web site and log in.

Faculty and Staff

  • Follow the instructions to create an account. You must use your Atlantic Cape e-mail account as your user name.

Faculty: New York Times in Education

Set up a separate account for access to teaching resources connecting the Times to your classroom.

  • Go to NYTimes.com/edu
  • Click on the link at the top right to register for an account.

You must use your Atlantic Cape e-mail account as your user name.
To access your account, go to the New York Times in Education web site and log in.

Faculty and Returning Students

If you signed up last year for an account, you will need to verify your account to continue using it. Your account is valid for 1 year from the day when you first signed up. On the anniversary of that date, you will need to re-validate your account

  • Go to: https://myaccount.nytimes.com/verification/edupass
  • Sign in using your user name and password. You will see a message saying that a verification message has been sent to your e-mail address.
  • Open the message and click the link to verify your address. Your access to your account will be restored for the next 365 days. 
  • This will be required annually. As long as you have a valid Atlantic Cape email account, you can continue to validate your subscription each year.
